Loyalty program for GCC businesses: one idea, local details in every country
Dawwerni is a gamified loyalty platform for local businesses in all six GCC countries: the shop puts a QR code on the table or counter, the customer scans it with the phone camera, plays a short game in Arabic or English and wins a reward for the next visit, with no app and no account. What changes from one country to the next is the currency, the seasons and the register. Example: a Riyadh café prints the phase-1 ZATCA QR on simplified invoices, while a Kuwait café connects its existing register via API.

What GCC shops have in common
- Customers in two languages: citizens and residents of many nationalities, so the game, menu and messages need Arabic and English from day one.
- Ramadan and Eid: in Ramadan the peak moves to after iftar and into suhoor; before Eid salons, gift cards and sweets get busy.
- The summer evening economy: in the heat, footfall moves to the evening and the malls and some families travel, so summer is the time for win-back campaigns.
- Karak and coffee: from the cafeteria to speciality coffee, the daily drink is the easiest place for a buy-9-get-the-10th-free card.
- Discovery on Instagram and Google Maps: customers search the map, read reviews and watch stories before they visit, so an honest invitation to review and follow matters.
- Permits: promotions and prize draws may need a permit from the ministry of commerce or the economic department in each country, so check before launching.
How Dawwerni works in any Gulf shop
The full setup for coffee shops is on the café loyalty page, and for restaurants on the restaurant loyalty page.
- Place the QR code on the table, counter, window, receipt, TV screen or an Instagram story.
- The customer scans with the phone camera and plays: spin wheel, mystery doors, quiz or scratch card, in the Ramadan, Eid or Coffee theme.
- They win a reward you choose, with odds and quantities you control, and a unique winning code the cashier verifies.
- They are invited, optionally, to follow you on Instagram and leave an honest Google review; the prize never depends on the review.
- Their profile is saved in your CRM, and the reward is valid on the next visit, which brings them back.

Remote setup, no inflated local promises
Dawwerni is a Tunisian company with the Startup Label, selling to the Gulf remotely. There are no Dawwerni branches or staff in the Gulf; setup and support happen in Arabic and English by WhatsApp and calls. The team builds the first game with you in about 10 minutes, then you print the QR stickers and start the same day.
Before any large prize draw or Instagram contest, check the permit with the ministry of commerce or economic department in your country. To pick a winner transparently for an Instagram contest, use the giveaway picker.

Frequently asked questions
Is the price the same in every GCC country?
No. In Saudi Arabia it is 750 SAR Standard and 900 SAR Premium per year. In the other GCC countries it is the worldwide plan: 129 USD and 149 USD per year, with a local quote on request.
Does the POS work in my currency?
Dawwerni POS works in SAR and AED. In Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman ask us about POS availability in your currency; loyalty, games and menu work fully with your current register connected.
Do you have a branch in the Gulf?
No. Dawwerni works remotely from Tunisia, with setup and support in Arabic and English by WhatsApp and calls.
Does the customer need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR with the phone camera and play in the browser; the loyalty card is saved on the phone as a web wallet card.
Can I tie the prize to a Google review?
No. Google’s policy forbids it. Dawwerni invites every customer the same way to leave an honest, optional review; the prize is for the visit or the play.
Do I need a permit for prize draws?
Promotions and draws may need a permit from the ministry of commerce or economic department in each country. Check with the authority or a lawyer before launching.
