Each slide is a high-resolution picture of your HTML, so it looks exactly the same, but the text is not editable in PowerPoint. Speaker notes from <aside class="notes"> are kept.

How to convert an HTML presentation to PowerPoint

  1. Drop the .html deck or paste its code (a Claude artifact, a ChatGPT canvas, reveal.js…).
  2. The converter detects the slides and shows a thumbnail of each one.
  3. Switch "Treat as" to Document if you want a long page cut into 16:9 slides instead.
  4. Click Download PowerPoint and open the .pptx in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.

Tips for HTML slides that convert well

  • Give every slide a fixed 16:9 size (1920 × 1080 or 1280 × 720) or a .slide class.
  • Put speaker notes in <aside class="notes"> inside each slide: they become PowerPoint notes.
  • Need editable text? Use the PPTX as a pixel-perfect base and retype only the slides you will change.
  • For sharing or printing, a 16:9 PDF of the same deck is lighter: choose PDF → 16:9 slides.

Common problems and how the converter fixes them

Web fonts missing (Google Fonts, icon fonts)
The converter waits for document.fonts.ready before capturing. If a font still loads late, raise "Wait before capture" to 2–3 seconds.
Charts are blank or half drawn (Chart.js, D3, ECharts)
Chart.js animations are switched off right before capture and the page gets a settle delay. For heavy dashboards, wait 2–4 seconds.
Tailwind CDN page looks unstyled
The Tailwind Play CDN builds its CSS in the browser after load. The default 1.5 s wait covers it; slow connections may need 3 s.
Sections set to 100vh are giant or squashed
The page is rendered in a fixed viewport (1280 × 720 by default, or the size of your slides), so vh units stay stable on every page.
The header repeats on every page or hides content
Fixed and sticky elements are shown once, at their place at the top, instead of being stamped on every page.
Dark background turns white
Backgrounds are captured as they are; in Print mode the converter forces print-color-adjust: exact. With dark pages, use margins "None" so the page edge is dark too.
Content that appears on scroll stays invisible
The converter scrolls through the page first (scroll-reveal and lazy images load), then freezes CSS animations at their final state.
Images from other websites are missing
The one-click download can only draw images whose server allows it (CORS). Use Print / Save as PDF, or put the images in a .zip with the HTML.

Private by design: nothing is uploaded

Most "online converters" upload your file to their server. This one does not: the HTML is opened inside your browser, in a sandboxed frame, and the PDF, PowerPoint, images, Word or Markdown file is built on your device. There is no server to send it to.

The sandbox lets the page run its own scripts (charts, Tailwind, slide decks) but blocks it from reading this site, your cookies or your storage, from opening pop-ups and from navigating away. Fonts, CDN scripts and images that your page itself links to are downloaded by your browser, exactly as when you open the file.

Guides

Frequently asked questions

Is the text editable in the PowerPoint file?

No. Each slide is a high-resolution picture of your HTML slide, which is why the design is kept exactly (fonts, gradients, charts). If you need to edit, retype the text of those slides in PowerPoint.

How are slides detected?

The converter looks for reveal.js decks, elements with a slide class, sibling sections with a 16:9 shape (1920 × 1080, 1280 × 720, 100vw × 100vh) and CSS page breaks. If nothing is found, the page is split into 16:9 slides.

Are speaker notes kept?

Yes. Text inside <aside class="notes"> (the reveal.js convention), a .notes element or a data-notes attribute on the slide is added to the notes of the matching PowerPoint slide.

Can I convert a Claude or ChatGPT presentation?

Yes. Download or copy the HTML of the artifact or canvas, then drop or paste it here. Charts drawn with Chart.js or D3 are captured after they finish rendering.

Does it work with Google Slides and Keynote?

Yes. The file is a standard 16:9 .pptx; Google Slides (File → Import slides) and Keynote open it with the pictures and notes.

Is it free and private?

Yes, free with no limit or watermark, and the deck is converted in your browser: it is never uploaded.
